Aravind’s Ring of Hope

Nearly 600 children with eye cancer have been helped by Aravind’s Ring of Hope program. During the pandemic, Aravind worked to limit exposure to the virus for these vulnerable patients.
Children like Nancy, a one-year-old baby who came from Andhar Pradesh for surgery, and then became stranded in Madurai by the nation-wide lockdown. In addition to free treatment, Aravind provided accomodation and and food to her family until they could go home.
